Flood Air Bricks

Flood water will flow easily through any standard air brick and cause flooding to rise up through the floor. Therefore if your property has air bricks it’s essential to include them in your flood protection plan.

As the floodwater rises, the floats rise with the floodwater to block the air vents above. As with the StormMeister™ Active Flood Seal the harder the floodwater pushes the tighter the spherical floats will seal.

Normal Conditions

The StormMeister Self-Sealing Airbrick is a straight replacement for a standard airbrick allowing free airflow under the floorboards eliminating the risk of damp and dry rot and stopping rodent infestation.

Flood Conditions

The StormMeister Self-Sealing Airbrick uses a simple flotation valve to automatically shut off during flood conditions. 4 valve balls float on the floodwater automatically stopping the flow of water under property.

Very Windy Conditions

The StormMeister Self-Sealing Airbrick utilises its aerodynamic design to automatically shut off during strong gusty winds. This stops heat loss from under your property saving money on your heating bills.
