Floodgates have been made by StormMeister® for more than 15 years, always engineered using sustainable ethically sourced timber. We have used the finest redwoods from Canada and sustainable hardwoods from the forests of West Africa. In recent years Accoya has been added to our floodgate options. Accoya is one of the most advanced modified timbers available. Sustainably harvested from resources in New Zealand the timber is then treated by a patented acetylation process. Accoya is a premium product guaranteed warp and rot free for 50 years. The exceptional resistance to weathering makes Accoya ideally suited to making floodgates.

Accoya is guaranteed for 50 Years not to warp or rot and ideal for the manufacture of floodgates. StormMeister® floodgates come with the additional benefit of coatings and colours UV protected and lasting for up to twice as long as on conventional coatings and colours.
